This Sunday at 6:30 – 8:30pm we are having a Harvest Festival for the children up to Grade 5. This means that Ablaze Youth has a GREAT opportunity of being in service and examples to the younger children of our church and community.
In Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.” A part of not stopping them is by providing them with the opportunity and to have fun and encourage them. Some of our Small Group Leaders will be available on-hand to advise the Youth if there are any questions. Carol Mitterer is organizing this event and will be on-hand for questions as well. Please be a early to help adults with the setup, plan on being there at 6pm.
Some ways to serve:
1. Face Painting and Tattooing
2. Help with doughnut relay
3. Lead kids out to search for a pumpkin. (no hay ride this year, so we plan to hide them outside instead)
4. Help lead other games and/or help with crafts at tables.
5. Help with piñatas, if we have them.
This is a Great event for all of the children of the community and thank you for serving as Jesus did.
