“We Proclaim the Good News” (6/10/12)

Pastor Blaik J. Westhoff,
Acts 13:1-52
Sermon Questions:
1. What does Acts 13 have to do with us?

2. Imagine that a person comes up to you and asks, “Do you have any
good news for me, spiritually
speaking?” How would you respond?

3. Suppose you had just one minute to tell someone about Jesus, your
faith, and Tabor church. Could you do it? Write down what you would
say? (Hint: If you need help answering this please consider signing up
for B.A.S.I.C.)

Further Study:
Romans 10:9-15

1. Recall a time in your past that you heard the “good news”. Place
yourself back in that scene and write down what you heard, felt,
received, and experienced.

2. Verse 10 says “… it is with your mouth that you profess your
faith and are saved.” What feelings do you experience when you
“profess your faith”?

3. Think about a person in your life that you believe needs a personal
relationship with Jesus. Write down your thoughts about how you can
be used by God to deliver the “good news” to them.
