Join us for Worship this Sunday, October 28, 2012

Join us for worship this Sunday, October 28 as Pastor Blaik will be preaching on the topic of effectiveness. The Scripture will be Acts 22:23–23:35.

Christians must often know about the ways of the world in order to be effective.

The Apostle Paul knew a lot about the ways of the world . . . current laws of the government and of his religion, human nature; he had an intelligence “network”, and even sought professional protection when he needed it . . .  all in service to his Savior.

We are not to be naive about such things in our own day and age, but to be educated, aware and ready to use any resource God puts at our disposal as we serve the Lord. However, we must NEVER use our worldly resources as a substitute for our dependence on the Lord. The Apostle Paul knew this very well (Acts 23:11).

“There is literally nothing that I ever asked to do, that I asked the blessed Creator to help me to do, that I have not been able to accomplish.” ~George Washington Carver~
