Never underestimate the importance of Godly friendships . . . God gives us friends so we have all we need to do His work. This is also part of God’s support network in our lives. Godly friends keep us on the right track, as we seek to do His work and His will in our lives. Without the support, encouragement, and sacrifice of Godly friends, would it even be possible to serve the Lord in any meaningful way for very long? Could that be one of the main reasons we’re told in the Bible to gather together on a regular basis as believers in our Lord Jesus Christ?
