Rally Day is here again and we are ready to start a new season of discipleship in Christ. There are some new things happening and you might start to see some more people around. This is the time of year when we receive new members that move from Juniors and/ or Confirmation into Ablaze.
We will be starting at our new time 6pm – 7:30pm on Sundays (Please check our calendar often for any changes). We often don’t have Youth Group on Holidays or their closest weekends.
The New Meeting Schedule will generally be:
Connecting – 5 minutes
Planning – 10 minutes
Prayers – 15 minutes
Teaching/ Small Groups – 25 minutes
Games – 25 minutes
Snacks – 10 minutes
Worship will be included flexibly through Prayer and Teaching times.
Our new structure is based on the Administrative Council structure, just for Ablaze. For ease of adoption we will be calling this the Ablaze Youth Council, and will include the Leaders of each Focus Group plus at least one Parent Representative and one Youth Representative. There are many areas where you are welcome to serve according to your gifts. If you don’t know what those are please take a spiritual gifts inventory to help you identify and develop them.(located on the resources page of our website). Those areas include: Vision, Teaching, Games, Worship, Fellowship/ Snacks, Missions/ Retreats & Special Events, and Communications. Each focus area will include at least one adult and one youth.
