1. According to the world’s standards this man already had everything.
Why was he so desperate for an answer from Jesus?
2. Have you ever been where this man was? You think you have
everything you need but you feel that there is something missing?
3. Search your own heart. Where are you placing your hope?

1. In the sermon from this week a rich man asked Jesus how to enter
the Kingdom of Heaven. Here we see a religious leader seeking a
similar truth from Jesus. In what ways are Jesus’ answer to these men
the same yet different?
2 In verse 15 Jesus says that “everyone who believes may have eternal
life”. Is it really that simple? Do you believe this?
3. Pray and meditate on verses 16 and 17. Try to commit them to
memory. Look for an opportunity this week to share these verses with
someone who may not know Jesus.
