1. What does the word “faith” mean when translated from the Greek?
2. Jesus said “whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have
received it, and it will be yours.” This is a remarkable promise, not
a blank check. What does Jesus teach us about the condition of our
heart when praying in this way?
3. Explain in your own words what mountain-moving-faith-and-forgiveness means to you.

Re-Read Mark 11:20-25
1. The story of the fig tree is the only recorded miracle that Jesus
performed where he used his power to destroy. Why did he do this?
2. The fig tree looked healthy but was bearing no fruit. What do you
think this says about a church that has the outward appearance of
health but is bearing no fruit?
3. These verses are an encouragement to pray. Think about something
that seems impossible, something standing in your way. Now check your
heart; how is your faith and forgiveness? Explain.
