Genesis 12:1-9; 15:1-6
1. What would you say is the difference between a journey and an adventure?
2. God seems to enjoy calling his people toward adventures. What
adventure is God leading you in right now?
3. God calls ordinary people to do extraordinary things. You’re just
one more ordinary person God has called to go on the adventure of a
lifetime. Are you ready?

1. It can be hard to obey God. Can you imagine being asked to leave
your home and travel to an unknown destination? Would you do it if
you knew it was God asking you to?
2. Imagine the discussions Abram and Sarai were having about God’s
request. What would your discussions be like?
3. Genesis 15:6 says “Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to
him as righteousness.” Meditate on the role ‘believing’ plays in the
life of a Christian. How has ‘belief’ changed your world?
