B.A.S.I.C. is a disciple-making process which is designed to fulfill the Great Commission by moving participants through phases from that suitable for a seeker to that of a mature follower of Jesus Christ. Each phase is broken into units which participants may take according to the needs of their spiritual journeys, either starting at the beginning and working through to the end or picking and choosing which units to take.
Our next unit will be called “Finding Your Place in Life and Ministry.” PLACE takes your Personality, Spiritual Gifts, Passions and Experiences (through teaching and short tests) and puts them together to find out how you can best serve God. It really is a fun way to discover who you are, understand your personality and learn how, together, we can serve God in the church and in the world.
This unit will begin on Sunday, September 21, 2014 and run through the end of October, 2014. If you would like further information, contact Maryanne Ditter (revspirform@taborumc.org) and she will be glad to talk to you. You can also call the church office at 215.234.4852 to register.
Pastor Blaik and other members of the B.A.S.I.C. Team are happy to guide you through a self-assessment tool designed to help you identify which units of B.A.S.I.C. may be most helpful for you. If you have any questions about the assessment tool or about B.A.S.I.C., contact Pastor Blaik (pastorblaik@taborumc.org).
This unit will met at 9:30 AM on Sundays in the Chapel or other designated area.
