Hi Everyone,
Tabor is open for in-person worship as of Sunday, August 23, 2020. Here are our protocols for worshiping at the church building.
Prior to Arriving – We ask that you discern whether or not you ought to attend worship based on what symptoms you do or do not have. Also, if you’ve traveled recently to any of the states that Pennsylvania has asked you to quarantine for 14 days after returning from then please worship online from home.
Upon Arrival – We are requiring that everyone wears a mask. Our greeters will welcome you with a masked smile and ask you to sign in. Hand sanitizer stations will be available at the designated entrances. Every other pew has been sectioned off to provide social distancing. We request if someone is sitting on the end of the pew that is 2 in front of you – that you then sit in the center of your pew to maximize social distancing (like the squares on a checker board).
During the Service – We will be worshiping together by singing 2 songs while wearing masks and sitting down. If you prefer to sing (and be around others who are singing) then we encourage you to sit towards the front half of the Sanctuary. If you prefer not to sing (or be around others who are not singing) then we encourage you to sit towards the back half of the Sanctuary.
In addition to these measures, we ask you to limit your interaction with one another and we encourage you to err on the side of caution by keeping a distant personal space.
As we worship in person our goal is to give everyone a safe way to be with your brothers and sisters in Christ, and we need your help to do so. Thank you for your cooperation with these safety measures.
God bless, be kind, and be safe,
Your friends in Christ at Tabor
