A Prayer Walk was held at Tabor Church on Saturday, June 14, 2014 to seek God’s guidance and direction for our congregation. Four themes emerged from what people heard God saying:
•Scarcity leads to God
•We need less power among people and more reliance on God
•God is faithful (in theory and practice)
•Everyone at Tabor should be praying for our congregation
It was agreed by those in attendance that this Prayer Walk should not be a one-time event.
Therefore, a second Prayer Walk will be held at Tabor Church on Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 8:00 – 9:00 am. The focus of prayer will be the four themes that emerged out of the first Prayer Walk. We will be asking God to further clarify what those four themes mean for Tabor Church at this time in its history. Everyone with a heart for the mission of Tabor is invited to attend.
